The Canon EOS 300 (also known as EOS Rebel 2000 in US and as EOS Kiss III, usually with a QD date back, in Japan) produced from 1999 is an entry level autofocus 35mm SLR camera aimed at the consumer market. It offers 5 exposure modes selected using a single dial on the top plate. An unusul feature is that the film runs backwards, into the cannister, rather than out. This is to protect shot frames should the film door be opened accidentally mid roll.
