The Fujifilm Nexia Q1 is an unusually designed simple point & shoot camera. Available in difft colours, inc: Slick Silver, Shiny Orange & Shiny Purple. Revamped as the Q1 Digital in 2003.
APS system cameras were jointly developed by the major manufacturers to be easier to use than conventional 35mm. They use an automatic load film cartridge. Introduced in 1996, the timing wasn’t right. Digital cameras started to become more popular in early 2000’s, and by 2004, manufacture of APS cameras ended. Film cartridges continued to be produced until 2011. However, out of date film is still available, and it can be processed by some specialist companies.
