Another cheap, plastic bodied, point & shoot – sold on the ‘Olympus Trip’ name. Following the production end of the excellent metal bodied Olympus Trip 35, in the same year, 1984, Olympus introduced a range of mainly plastic bodied mass market ‘auto everything’ point & shoot cameras. The Trip XB3 from 1996 was one of these. This new range of Trips continued into the early 2000’s, when digital cameras took over.
