The Kodak Vest Pocket Autographic (1915-1926) has a window through which you could write notes on the film, hence ‘Autographic’. This 1920 version has the ‘Japan Crystal’ black crackle paint finish. Advertised as the ‘Soldiers Camera’ during WWI and going on to sell over 1,750,000 units. A very successful camera.
