The Olympus Camedia C-310 Zoom (also known as D-540 Zoom) was offered as an easy to use consumer budget camera. It has 5 scene modes and is capable of macro shots down to 2cm. With a decent zoom, 38-114mm (equiv), and respectable aperture range from f=2.9 to f=5.0 it was quote a capable camera at launch.
