The Konica Digital Revio KD-100 is a simple 1.3 megapixel camera. It uses a CMOS sensor, as opposed to more common (at the time) CCD sensor. Basically, a fully automatic ‘point and shoot’. Konica Director, Kevin Day, is quoted as stating “The KD-100 is not only the perfect entry model for anyone wanting to experience digital photography but is also an ideal camera for business use”.

A CMOS sensor is typically faster and more energy efficient than a CCD sensor. The first CMOS digital camera was produced by Canon in 2000. CMOS didn’t become ‘mainstream’ until early 2010s. CCD cameras are thought to produce more ‘film like’ images and therefore in demand for nostalgic reasons.

Please tell me about the best batteries with their voltage to use in Digital Revio KD-100.
Because it’s batteries soon finish after less than 5 pictures
Thanks a lot for your kindness.
    With compliments

Hi Jamshid, as it takes AA batteries, I’d suggest just using the best quality you can get. Duracell or similar? However, I use Amazon basic AAs and they seem to last OK. BUT, I have not used them for any time in the KD-100. Maybe rechargeable AAs are the way to go? Good luck experimenting.
