The DSC-F717 is the 5th Gen ‘L’ shape Sony design. It has a 5.0 Mp CCD sensor, 38-190mm (equiv) 5x optical & 10x digital zoom, and a host of other advanced features, including ability to shoot in virtual darkness. It was an expensive camera at the time.
